This preservative is very effective in small amounts in lotions, creams, or other oil/water bodycare products. Usage can be as low as 0.1%, but recommend 0.2%. This is a broad spectrum preservative, which is soluble in water and should be diluted either in water while making product, or mixed separately and added. INCI name Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Diazolidinyl Urea.

Recognized by both FDA, Health Canada and other international associations as an effective preservative system on its own.
