As the plastic tube material is soft and flexible, tubes can’t use paper labels or films (like polypropylene) due to their rigid properties and a lack of springing back to its original shape. Typically they stretch or wrinkle.
There are two approaches to getting your label onto a tube.
A) Printed labels that are professionally printed on a clear label material from Fasson® called Primax. We machine apply as a wrap around the tube, then fill and seal.
Allowable label dimensions:
8 Fl.oz/250ml: 6.25 inch Height x 6 inch Width (outer wrap diameter).
Please Note: When the tube is sealed, it creates unusual angles near the top. We would recommend concentrating the artwork on the main belly of the tube, rather than the whole height.
Vinyl labels work well on tubes (if they are kept fairly small) but you have to hand apply them. This method could save you money as they can be produced in small runs, helping you retain capital.
B) Aquatech will fill and seal the tubes without labeling. Using a small front and back label in vinyl, it is applied by hand afterward (this can be done by us or you can do it yourself to save more money). These labels can be printed digitally by a commercial printer or the stock can be bought online and made with a domestic inkjet/laser (watch for wet situations like showers, as ink jet will bleed).
Recommended or approximate label dimensions:
8 Fl.oz/250ml: 2.5-3.5 inch Height x 1-1.5 inch Width.
Labeling
Application is included, if professionally printed on roll stock for machine application. Hand application with digital sheet labels is not included with this price. Back labels require a product description and possibly how to use it, plus an ingredient list, which, can be obtained from our web site. Remember: colour and fragrance go at the end.
Colours
Stock product comes plain and its up to you if you want colour. Being in a white tube, colour would not be visable until dispensed. Custom colours require a Pantone® Colour Swatch number for matching purposes.

Alternately, you can send us your fragrance to be added to our products.
Modifications
We alter pricing if you intend to supply us with your own supply of squeezable tubes. Scent can be provided to us, along with actives or botanicals and added without additional charge. Substitutions to the base formulation in the way of raw materials, oils or suppliers are not permitted with this program: requiring custom formulation and lab time.
Shipping
Charges for shipping are additional to these prices. Due to the number of clients, Aquatech does not offer warehousing, “pick and pack” services or “drop shipping” of these products to various customers.
