Aquatech can help you reach the next level in your product cycle and development. Our Private Label Service can simplify your inventory woes, and help free up time for you to concentrate on building your business
Most companies that require us to make their product, typically have established sales and clientele. We can batch, fill and complete a whole line of items. While others just need one or two products as they are popular and can’t keep it on the shelf.
There are a number of different ways to do Private label with us.
- Fill and cap, then label and lot code one of our products.
- A slightly modified formulation to fill, cap, label and lot code
- A new formulation some alternate ingredients to, fill, cap, label and lot code.
Each level involves more lab time, some bench testing and a bit longer to develop.
Minimums are higher and there are lab time expenses involved.
Things like reverse engineering a product; research and development for a formulation, or products wanting “activity” and claims will take a while to design.
Depending on what size
bottle you pick, will determine how many pieces.
- 2oz/60ml Bottle 1500 pieces
- 4oz/120ml Bottle 1000 pieces
- 8oz/240ml Bottle 750 pieces
- 16oz Bottle 500 pieces.
Sorry, at this time, these batches are one type only.
We have several Sample Sets available which would allow you to try our products. With a little imagination you can sense how your product will look and perform with these various components provided. If there are additions or substitutions, we would recommend a sample to be made in the lab. Those that are doing a "ground up" formulation, there will be development fees and lab time with samples sent as the project moves along.
Please note: if they are new formulations; there will need to be time for stability tests.
Lets assume you have approved the sample, artwork has gone to the printer (which has been approved) and the bottle, cap, and fragrance has been ordered. Once everything has arrived at our facility...around 3-4 weeks.
Those that have new products or more elaborate formulations, it could be months. Samples in the incubator accelerates time, this tells us how it will endure on the shelf over time. Stability uses a higher temperature for a period of 1 month, which is equal to 1 year on the shelf... ultimately we would like to keep it for 2 months. If it separates or breaks, that pushes us back to the development stage. Give yourself time, with an average of 12 weeks. Possibly more now, as the supply chains are erratic.
What kind of bottles and packaging do you offer?
Our customers in the past chose what we had. Over time, the requests for various types components made it difficult to stock and control. The pandemic has put lots of demand on the supply chain and at this point, decided to not carry and sit on any. At this time, there are a very limited supply of bottles, caps, pumps and sprayers, We request you have them sent to us. It might seem like more work...but you can source them; then when ordering, have the "bill to" under your name and the "ship to" would be Aquatech. This would be a straight cost to you and would not involve any markup on these components. We do stock a number of jars.
We are a skin care manufacturer and do not print labels. Most people find a label company that is fairly close to where they operate, as they want to have control over the production quality. Many have graphic artists on site that can correct images and prepare the file for a proof.
Sunshine and ultraviolet light is your hidden enemy. The labels are protected for UVA and UVB light spectrums, which make the ink resistant to fading. This overcoat also offers a gloss appearance and additional protection from scratching and scuffing.
We send them back to you on the first order. If you order labels again you are required to send the labels back to us.
Each product is case packed and sent in either 12, 24 or 48 pieces, depending on the size selected. Shipping is not included. We will not "drop ship", meaning we will not send this to your customer. This is for your protection. This also eliminates any possible damage claims or liability over faulty addresses, unspecified instructions, personal agreements and related concerns over client confidentiality. We want to keep variables down to a minimum, reduce complications and make execution simple.
Sure ...doing it yourself is perfect for testing the market, limited runs, not knowing when sales will occur, or have doubts about the look and layout of the final product. We offer a variety of suggestions for fairly professional results. Whether inkjet, laser or digital... you should take the same precautions for bad grammar, punctuation, sloppy presentation or omissions as with professional printing. When it comes to impression, nothing can be left to chance.
