How to Use
Use Vegetable Glycerin as a humectant and moisturizer in creams, lotions, serums, shampoos, conditioners, soaps, and other personal care products. Typical usage levels range from 2% to 10%, depending on the desired effect and formulation type.
Mixture Instructions
Use at 1–10% in most skincare and hair care formulations, depending on the desired level of hydration. Vegetable glycerin is water-soluble and should be added to the water phase of formulations.
To avoid a sticky feel, it is recommended to keep usage levels below 5% in leave-on products unless balanced with other humectants or water.
Mix thoroughly with water or aqueous ingredients until fully uniform. It can be used in both cold and heated process formulations.
For best performance, combine with other moisturizing agents (such as aloe vera or hyaluronic acid) and include sufficient water content to allow proper absorption.
