Vitamin C Serum

A 100% natural multifunctional Vitamin C Serum which performs as an exfoliant, anti-oxidant, and skin brightening agent with anti-aging properties. Ethyl Ascorbic Acid from this manufacturer, claims benefits of…

  • Effective and stable skin brightening agent
  • Balanced skin tone
  • Photo-aging prevention and reduced dark spots
  • Increased collagen synthesis
  • Excellent anti-oxidation properties

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is introduced to the serum to enhance the following benefits:

  • improves skin’s elasticity with anti-wrinkle properties
  • enhances barrier function preventing skin from losing water content
  • helps discoloration and uneven skin tone
  • stimulates microcirculation in the dermis

Hyaluronic Acid (HA), naturally found in the body, secures moisture and creates fullness—youthful skin by improving its moisture content. As the skin ages, HA decreases. Hyaluronic Acid:

  • has a slight plumping effect to even wrinkles
  • necessary element for maintaining youthful skin
  • improves collagen production
  • brightens skin tone, reducing dullness

Fruit acids derived from grapes, apples, lemons, oranges and sugar cane act as a natural Alpha Hydroxy Acid. It helps:

  • to stimulate both elastin and collagen production
  • to improve appearance of photo damaged skin
  • performs as a mild exfoliant and peel (unlike salicylic acid)
  • good for sensitive skin.

How to Use

How to Use Vitamin C Serum

For best results, apply your Vitamin C Serum in the morning after cleansing and before moisturizing. Always follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher).

  • Apply a few drops to clean, dry skin.
  • Gently smooth over the face and neck.
  • Allow it to absorb before applying moisturizer and SPF.

Tip: Avoid layering with strong exfoliating acids, retinol, or benzoyl peroxide at the same time, as these may cause irritation.

Patch Test Instructions

Before applying to your face, perform a simple patch test to make sure your skin tolerates the serum:

  1. Apply a small amount of serum to a discreet area, such as the inner forearm or behind the ear.
  2. Leave it on for 24–48 hours.
  3. Check the area for signs of redness, itching, swelling, or irritation.

If You Notice Any Reaction

  • Wash the area immediately with a gentle cleanser.
  • Stop using the product right away.
  • Apply a soothing moisturizer or cool compress if needed.
  • If irritation persists or worsens, consult a healthcare professional.

Remember: Even if your patch test is fine, introduce new products gradually and always use sunscreen during the day when using Vitamin C.

Mixture Instructions

Vitamin C Serum Base – Mixing Instructions

Our Vitamin C Serum Base is professionally formulated with stabilized Vitamin C (3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid), Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, and botanical extracts. It can be used on its own or customized with additional ingredients.

What You’ll Need

  • Vitamin C Serum Base
  • Optional: fragrance or essential oils – Fragrance should be solubilized before adding.
  • Clean mixing container and utensils
  • Measuring scale (preferred)
  • Clean storage bottle or jar

Mixing Steps

  1. Measure the Base
    1. Place your clean container on a scale and zero it out.
  2. Add Optional Ingredients
    1. If desired, add 0.5–1% fragrance or essential oils.
  3. Mix Gently
    1. Stir until ingredients are fully blended and uniform.
  4. Transfer & Store
    1. Pour your finished serum into a clean, airtight container.
    2. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Important Notes

  • The serum is ready to use as-is. Customization is optional.
  • If you dilute the base with deionized or distilled water, you must add a preservative to maintain product safety. Without one, microbial growth may occur.
  • Avoid adding strong acids or actives (like glycolic acid or retinol) as this may destabilize the formula.
  • For freshness, mix only what you’ll use within 6–8 weeks.

Safety & Patch Test

Before applying to your face:

  1. Apply a small amount to the inner forearm or behind the ear.
  2. Wait 24–48 hours.
  3. If redness, itching, or irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.

Tip: This base is stable and effective on its own — diluting or altering the formula is not necessary unless you’re an experienced formulator.
