Great conditioning properties and a healthy shine with good wet combing ability. Includes pea peptides giving a silky feel, with shine derived naturally from hydrolyzed castor beans, with coco caprylate (an alternative to silicones), giving slip and easy wet combing. Chamomile will brighten tones and help split ends, having glycerine for added body. Our Natural broad spectrum preservative system, makes this usable for all ages. Note: Our products are not fragranced, however like most unscented conditioners, this has a light aromatic tone due to the conditioning ingredients involved…but can be easily masked. Fragrance is recommended at .5%-1.5% and would take color, but few conditioners do. (as you have to solubilize color due to the ions and Ph).Results vary on types of hair.

How to Use
Apply the conditioner evenly to the ends and mid-lengths of your hair, avoiding the scalp. Use a wide-tooth comb to distribute the conditioner evenly and detangle your hair gently. Leave the conditioner on for a minute or two to allow it to work its way into your hair strands. Then, rinse your hair thoroughly with cool or lukewarm water

Fragrance Compatibility & Testing Guide – Conditioner BasesFor Professional Use by Wholesale CustomersHair conditioner bases can respond differently to various fragrances or essential oils. Some may become thicker, thinner, or separate over time, while others remain stable. These reactions depend on the types of oils, emulsifiers, and stabilizers present in both the base and the fragrance. Fragrance suppliers are not required to disclose all components in their blends due to proprietary rights. However, ingredients such as butylene glycol, propylene glycol, glycerin, carrier oils, hexane, or other solvents can impact viscosity, stability, and appearance.Common Reactions & SolutionsSeparation or “Oil Layer” on TopCause: The fragrance or essential oil is not fully blending with the conditioner base.Solution: Choose a fragrance that is known to be conditioner-compatible or reduce the percentage used.Conditioner Becomes Too ThickCause: The fragrance reacts with emulsifiers, increasing viscosity.Solution: Allow the mixture to sit overnight. If still too thick, add a small amount of distilled or deionized water to thin slightly.Important: If water is added, a preservative must be included to prevent microbial growth.Conditioner Becomes Too ThinCause: The fragrance disrupts the emulsion or thins the base.Solution: Reduce the fragrance percentage. Before You Begin TestingDisinfect all utensils, containers, and equipment before contact with the product.Use a mist of rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol from a spray bottle as the preferred method of disinfection. This method avoids potential residue that could irritate skin or interact with ingredients.Tools & MaterialsMixing containerScale (preferred) or graduated measuring cupSpoons or silicone spatulasPlastic zip-lock or piping bags (for filling bottles)Fragrance or essential oilsColour (optional)Testing StepsMeasure BasePlace the mixing container on a scale and “zero” the reading. If no scale is available, use a graduated measuring cup.Recommended test size: 240 ml (8 oz) for ease of handling and observation.Add Fragrance or Essential OilStart with 0.5–1% of total product weight.Even a small amount can react with other ingredients, so starting low helps minimize irritation risk and product instability.Observe any immediate changes in texture or stability.Optional – Add ColourOnly if the conditioner remains stable after fragrance testing.Rest PeriodAllow the mixture to sit overnight to confirm stability before making adjustments.Adjust if NeededToo thick → Add distilled/deionized water in ½–1 tsp increment and add preservative.Too thin → Reduce fragrance percentage or reformulate with a compatible thickener during the heated phase.Package ProductUse a piping bag or zip-lock bag with a small corner cut for clean filling.Alternatively, spoon or pour directly if the mixture is fluid enough.
